Standards

Students participating in the World Language Program at Martin adhere to the national standards of World Language instruction. The curricular elements of Communication strategies, Community participation, Cultural interactions, and making Comparisons and Connections between various cultures give students a broader exposure to their
language of study. It is our hope that students will explore and develop their critical
thinking skills, learning strategies, and understanding of world cultures through the
above 5 C's with the use of technology, oral and written activities, guest speakers, and field trips.
