On Tuesday, November
2, 2010, East Providence voters will be asked to approve or reject a
$15 million dollar school bond. Unfortunately many residents are not
aware of this bond and what it means to them as residents.
We ask every parent
to think about the current condition of our schools. Do you see
buildings in needs of dire repair? Does your child tell you about
the leaks from the roof? Is their classroom cold? Do you want to
ensure your child can exit the school safely during an emergency?
All of these issues will be addressed
with this bond.
The PTO would like to provide parents
with important facts about this bond so they can make an informative
decision regarding the safety and well being of our students and the
schools they attend when voting.
